Kids Que Winner - Baptized BBQ

Congratulations to DJ Big Monarch Q for their Grand Champion win at the 2024 Uniquely Union BBQ Cook-Off. They took first in pork and second to secure this honor.

Also, congratulations to Baptized BBQ for winning the Kids Que event.

09/212024 Bessemer City Brew and QUE

Congratulations to Tony Sadler of In The Army Que. His first place in pork, third place in ribs and third place in chicken got him a Grand Champion call at this weekend's Bessemer City Brew and Que competition.
We also congratulate NOBOS for their first place win in ribs and Ultimate Tailgaters for first place win in chicken. And we don't want to forget to congratulate all the other cook teams that got a call at this event.

2024 Jamile Temple BBQ Cook-Off Grand Champion - Smokin' Gringos

Congratulations to Mike Bastin of Smokin' Gringos for his Grand Champion win at this weekend's Jamil Temple BBQ Cook-Off. This was Mike's second consecutive win after winning last week's Smoke On Shring Lake event.

We would also like to offer congratulations to all of the other teams that got a call at both events.

There was some great competition at both events. We hope to see more of these competitors as the season continues into the fall.

08/17/2024 Black BBQ Cook Off

Congratulations to 2-6-KA BBQ on their Grand Champion win at the Black BBQ Cook Off in Fayetteville, NC. This was the third year for this event and the first time it was sanctioned by Southern BBQ Network. The event consisted of Ribs, Chicken and Brisket. Many thanks to the Contest Representative, Bruce Yeomans, hospitality during our visit.

Congratulations to all of the other teams that got a walk on Saturday.

DOKO Rib Fest was held on March 9, 2024 in Blythewood, SC. This was a rib only event with competitors in three categories. There was a total of 50 cook teams competing in categories consisting of Amateurs, Veterans and Professionals. Congratulations to all of the teams that got a call on Saturday.

THe Vicious Pig Annual BBQ Throwdown was held November 11th 2023 in Stedman NC and consisted of a 2 meat Pork Shoulder & Pork Ribs Contest with a Friday Night Wing Challenge.

Congratulations to Backdraft BBQ on his Grand Championship win.

The SBN Invitational, presented by the Moncks Corner Lions Club and Southern BBQ Network, was held on November 4 2023 with over $7000.00 in prizes and trophies awarded in the categories of pork shoulder, chicken, pork ribs, beef brisket and kidz que.

Congratulations to Bobby Brinson with Vicious Pig BBQ on his Grand CHampionship win and the awarding of the new trophy "The Mary" dedicated to the memory of Mary Waiboer.

On October 28 2023 The SOns of the American Legion held its annual BBQ cook off consisting of three categories, Pork Shoulder, Pork Ribs, and Chicken.

On October 21st 2023 the City of Abbeville hosted its annual Hogs and Hens BBQ Festival. THis was a 4 meat contest consisting of Pork Shoulder, Pork Ribs, Beef Brisket, Chicken, and Hash.
