The 18th annual Smoke At The Lodge BBQ Cook Off was held March 31 and April 1, 2023. Friday evening was the Anything Butt competition; plus the band, dancing and socializing that is part of the tradition of this event. As always, it was a great time for everyone involved.  The Bar Ba Brew BBQ CookOff and Craft Brew Festival was held in Harrisburg NC on 3/25/23 to benefit the Jeff Gordan Children's Center. The contest consisted of 2 meats (pork shoulder and ribs) with Old School and New School contestant fields. SBN would like to congratulate Ultimate Tailgaters for their Grand Championship win. Full contest scores can be found HERE On 3/11/23 The Doko Rib Fest was held in Blythewood SC. The event consisted of a Pork Rib contest with professional, amateur and veteran categories.

Feelin' Swines was awarded Grand Champion of the event. On October 29th 2022 the Sons of the American Legion held its Annual BBQ Cook-off at James Island SC to benefit the Charleston Fisher House. On October 21-22nd Clinton SC hosted their annual Smokin' on the Rails BBQ competition to benefit Clinton Community Cares. Congratulations to SC Smokey D's BBQ for their Grand Championship win. Full scores can he found HERE  On October 15th 2022 Smoke on the Waccamaw, a brand new event in Conway South Carolina, was put on by the Shrine Club of Conway with proceeds to the Shriners organization that supports the Children's Hospitals throughout the United States.
